How to reach the science desk, what we respond to, and what we will not do however politely it is asked.
Everything comes to one address: desk@exosomaltherapy.co.uk. There is no phone line and no postal address for correspondence.
What we respond to
- Corrections. If something on this site is wrong, tell us with a source and we will fix it and say what changed.
- Grade challenges. Send the citation. If it meets the standard named in the panel's final line, the grade moves. If it does not, we say why. Both are published.
- Questions about the science. We answer where we can and say when we cannot. We do not answer questions about whether a treatment is right for you, because that requires examining you and we are not clinicians.
- Listing enquiries. See listings and the rate card first.
- Sponsorship enquiries. Rates and the refusal list are published.
What we will not do
- Recommend a clinic, a practitioner or a product. We do not assess clinical practice and we do not rank.
- Give medical advice, or an opinion on whether a treatment is suitable for an individual.
- Provide legal advice on regulatory status. We describe frameworks and link primary sources.
- Remove or soften published content because a commercial party has asked. Errors are corrected on evidence.
- Accept an article, a guest post, a link exchange or a syndication arrangement.
If you are a patient with a concern
We cannot help clinically. If you have had a treatment and something is wrong, contact the practitioner who treated you and seek medical assessment. Adverse events involving medicines and medical devices in the UK can be reported through the MHRA Yellow Card scheme, including by members of the public. Practitioner registration can be checked with the relevant professional register.
If you are a researcher
We are interested in hearing about work in this area, particularly controlled studies with vehicle arms, and particularly null results, which are the hardest things to publish and among the most useful things to read. If you have a preprint or a paper we should read, send it.
Response times
This is a small desk. Corrections and grade challenges are read first. Commercial enquiries are read last, which is a statement of priority rather than of rudeness.
